Khairat Hospital’s management convenes with department heads to assess current challenges and explore potential solutions.
On Wednesday 12th of July 2023, a team assembled at the Kilifi’s Blue House to hold yet another historical event for Khairat Hospital. This meeting gathered the entire management and all heads of departments with an aim of covering matters around growth and sustainability of each staff present at the facility. During this time a number of issues were discussed while some were carried forward for such future meetings.
As a way of establishing ground for good operations, each head of department presented a situation overview of their staff which included achievement, needs and how working at Khairat has been for them.Apart from this, they also outlined some of the challenges faced and how such have affected their performance. Luckily, they also had a chance to mention some of the solutions for such challenges for instance in terms of logistics and resource mobilization.Finally each participant presented strategies that would lead to improved perfomance and this includes process, new programs and other relevant measures.
This meeting provided an excelent opportunity for cross-departmental collaboration and offerred problem solving platform as well as alligning all efforts to optimize productivity and provide exemptional health care services. Mr Abubakar Mohamed, the operation manager gave a welcoming speech which also opened the discussion.In doing so, he urged everyone to make the best out of this day while ensuring that they understand the goal for the meeting. Additionaly, he elaborated what to expect as the day grows. Our Human Resource department was not left out and as way of ensuring that the issues addressed are well captured, the human resaource manager for Khairat Hospital Ms Nasra Awadh actively partcipated to take notes and to ensure order even as the presentations took place.
The CEO, Dr, Mohamed Mahfudh in his speech acknowledged the need for growth and noted how it can be difficult ,he says, “Remember change can be daunting but also its an incredible opportunity for personal and professional growth. So let us all embrace it with an open mind and unwavering determination. let us transform these challenges into a stepping stone and turn our vision into a reality and elevate our entire hospital, from the mindset of our staff to the mode of services we offer.” he would then congratulate each of them for their dedication and support they have offered so far to ensure effective service provision “…your hard work and passion have brought us this far, and I am confident that with our collectivity, we will reach the standards we aspire to and even exceed the expectation the board has set forth,” He added.
